The earrings are totally made from scratch using various gauges of sterling silver wire. The frames were meticulously coiled with genuine micro-faceted Amethyst rondelles and decorated with hand-woven vines. In the center, I placed AAA basket cut briolettes of gorgeous grape colored Amethyst. Finished with leverbacks to keep them in place.
All metal used is sterling silver. The silver has been oxidized to enhance the details and to achieve more of a mysterious antiqued look. The total length including earwires is just under 2 inches long (~ 50 mm). The briolettes measure 9x8 mm.
I've used leverbacks for these Amethyst earrings, but can change them for my handmade long-stemmed hooks if preferred.
