This handmade necklace features a faerie resting inside a pomegranate, wrought in pewter. I like to imagine that the little fae hollowed out the fruit by eating it, so I call this necklace The Hungriest Pixie Ever. Alternating freshwater pearls and mossy Swarovski crystals are accented by faceted moss agate and a vibrant punch of color from the coral-peachy Swarovski crystals. This peach and green combination is very unusual for me, if you love it then you'd better grab it now because it will probably never happen again!

The Hungriest Pixie Ever features the work of two of my favorite component designers -- Earthenwood Studios and Green Girl Studios. The pewter pomegranate pixie pendant was created by Green Girl, and the two porcelain poms are from Earthenwood. I love it when I can combine the work of multiple artists in one piece!

This faerie necklace measures 18" long and fastens securely with a Sterling Silver floral hook and eye clasp. All findings are Sterling Silver. The focal is lead-free pewter made in the USA. And now, the story...

A long night of knotting the hair of churlish maids makes for a strong appetite. This little pixie couldn't help herself when she saw the ripe, luscious pomegranate. She ate the whole thing, until nothing was left but a hollow shell! Sated, she curled up for a little nap, well-earned after all her hard work.
