The Hungriest Pixie Ever features the work of two of my favorite component designers -- Earthenwood Studios and Green Girl Studios. The pewter pomegranate pixie pendant was created by Green Girl, and the two porcelain poms are from Earthenwood. I love it when I can combine the work of multiple artists in one piece!
This faerie necklace measures 18" long and fastens securely with a Sterling Silver floral hook and eye clasp. All findings are Sterling Silver. The focal is lead-free pewter made in the USA. Like all Erthe Fae Designs it is truly unique, one of a kind, and made with love and whimsy in my non-smoking Arizona studio. And now, the story...
A long night of knotting the hair of churlish maids makes for a strong appetite. This little pixie couldn't help herself when she saw the ripe, luscious pomegranate. She ate the whole thing, until nothing was left but a hollow shell! Sated, she curled up for a little nap, well-earned after all her hard work.
The Hungriest Pixie Ever was created for FAE Team's "Hunger Moon" monthly dare in February 2010.
