These Orwell clutches, named after the author of "Animal Farm", will bring a smile to anyone's face and some shine to any outfit!
This is a very special Orwell clutch inspired by Antoine's De Saint-Exupéry's story of The Little Prince. When the narrator was a child he drew a picture of a snake, but when he showed it to some grown ups they thought it was a hat. So then he drew another picture, this time showing boa's inside's, so the growns up could understand.
This picture captures both of the narrator's drawings! One side is the just the boa, in metallic TEAL leather, with white eye and hand-stitched pupil. The other side is the same, but with the addition of a white leather boa "interior", and a slightly confused metallic silver leather elephant. Elephant details are in white and black leather.
The purse measures 20 3/4" (52.7cm) long (total snake) and 6 3/4" (17 cm) tall (in his mid section). The section of the snake with the elephant is about 9 5/8" (25.2cm) long. The interior has a small pocket - large enough to hold ID or a credit card. The purse is lightly padded, and lined in a polyester satin. Lining color will be teal.
The purse itself holds enough for a night on the town: cell phone, lip gloss, money and any phone numbers you might pick up while people use your new purse as snazzy conversation starter. A zipper closure keeps all your goodies inside.
