This warm cowl is hand crocheted in a soft 100% organic cotton yarn. This yarn is quite light and fluffy with a wonderfully soft feel. It works up beautifully, and is warm without being heavy.
The color of this cowl is a soft cream--the yarn maker calls it "Amond." The knit pattern is a variation of tunisian crochet, which gives the outside a nice woven look and makes the inside quite soft and warm.
The cowl closes with three small crocheted loops and three new hammered brass buttons.
A cowl is a great idea for a cold winter day. You can wear it over a long sleeved T, a sweater, or with a coat. It's light enough to wear inside, and small enough to store in your coat pocket.
Size:
26 inches long, (66 cm) 4 inches (10 cm) wide. When closed, the scarf measures 23 inches around the top.
Hand wash, in lukewarm water, and dry flat.
