You can wear it jauntily to one side, fluff it up to be more top-heavy, or wear it towards the back of your head to give it a more slouchy look. The yarn, however, is quite firm and would felt nicely.
I bought both yarns at the Knitting and Stitching Show in Dublin, but not from the same stall. I really wanted to mix those two though, and that's what I did! The hat was knitted in my home during cold winter days (and nights), and the vivid purple reminds me of the first burst of colour after a very long winter.
The Burst of Purple hat fits head circumferences from 24" to 26"
Please hand wash with a mild detergent in cool water and dry flat, if possible.
Jacob, one of my very stylish bear models, is doing his cool model thang to show how the hat can be worn, and I was following suit! Jacob is definitely a more patient model.
