This hat is larger than life! Knitted in the style of a Renaissance hat, but with bulky yarn, this hat will definitely stand out. Two different yarns – one in two shades of purple, the other in a kaleidoscope of purple, lilac, blue, dark pink, red and white tones – are winding their way up to the crown, the colours playfully intermingling with each other. The yarn is very soft but strong to the touch.
You can wear it jauntily to one side, fluff it up to be more top-heavy, or wear it towards the back of your head to give it a more slouchy look. The yarn, however, is quite firm and would felt nicely.

I bought both yarns at the Knitting and Stitching Show in Dublin, but not from the same stall. I really wanted to mix those two though, and that's what I did! The hat was knitted in my home during cold winter days (and nights), and the vivid purple reminds me of the first burst of colour after a very long winter.

The Burst of Purple hat fits head circumferences from 24" to 26"

Please hand wash with a mild detergent in cool water and dry flat, if possible.
