This is one of those necklaces that needs a really strong, fearless female to pull it off. It's really more of a garment than an accessory. Absolutely one of a kind so you can be the only on one your block to rock it like the love child of Mr. T and the material girl.

A mix of salvaged, vintage, and new silver-toned chains are draped in a graduated swag to form the base of this one of a kind statement necklace. A pile of vintage and antique salvaged crosses and crucifixes swing from the chain base. They are made of various base-metals, in a mix of colors from shiny silver to black wood and oxidized silver.

As most parts of this design are vintage and antique, they do show signs of their age, especially on the crucifixes which are beautifully worn and distressed from decades of prayer. Most of them were salvaged from damaged rosary strands. I feel that touches of wear and patina add beauty and authenticity to my designs.

This necklace is very versatile. I have added oversized silvertone clips at both sides of the neck so that the necklace can be easily adjusted (long, short, or anywhere in between). With the back extender chain in place, the necklace is dramatically long, the longest strand hits the navel at 36" (first mannequin picture). When the rear extender chain is removed and the clips are attached directly to each other, the necklace covers the upper chest with the longest strand hitting right at the bustline 26" (second pic on mannequin).
