My Indigo Collection is inspired by Japanese indigo and white cotton textiles that were used for peasant clothing (noragi) during the Edo period. Even today, indigo and white cottons are used for everyday kimonos and are printed in a range of traditional motifs. Indigo is a dark gray/blue color. It is a neutral and looks great with any color outfit.

This piece incorporates a cherry blossom design transferred onto polymer. My technique involves crackling the ink slightly to mimic the look of paste and stencil textile printing. It is framed by hammered and oxidized fine silver. The back is dark indigo textured polymer.

The pendant measures 1.5 inches from the top of the sterling bail. It is removable from the 20 inch oxidized sterling silver chain.

If you already have a chain or neckwire, the pendant alone can be purchased for $60 - please convo me before purchasing so that I can adjust the price and reserve the listing.
