are created using a wet-felting technique that incorporates wool with an open-weave fabric. I use primarily silk chiffon fabrics and next-to-the-skin soft wools. This results in a thin, flexible and functional work of wearable art.
New Leaf is crafted from organic merino wool, incredibly soft, dyed up in bright, leafy greens and layered with strips of silk chiffon fabrics. This design is a hybrid of the 'Tangled' and my standard rectangular nuno scarf.
My scarves are light and draping, created with very, very THIN layers, supple and totally wearable--no stiffness.
