These are handmade by me in my Melbourne Studio. The root of the tooth has been removed and I have made a bezel setting that the tooth sits in. I can do these earrings as either a pair of studs, or on hooks. There is also the option of oxidised silver (see first image) or bright silver (second image). Please message me with the colour and version you would prefer.
I have a small but growing collection of donated teeth from interested friends, friends of friends, strangers, and tooth-fairy's. They are all different and unique, and are often mistaken for ivory pieces by admirers. Teeth are sentimental, recycled, beautiful and somehow unusual (we see teeth every day, but in this context they are incredible). I have also sterlilised them all.
If you happen to have a collection of your own family's teeth, I am happy to use your teeth if you send them to me. I now offer a 10% discount on commissioned pieces where you provide the teeth.
Tooth jewellery is made to order, and is time consuming so can take up to 4 weeks for you to receive. But let me know if you have a deadline and I will try my best to accommodate it.
I ship worldwide for free and due to the high value of my jewellery, I always use registered post.
All my work comes packaged in an incredible box that I have handmade, a book with a secret compartment cut into the pages. It looks great as a display box or as a hidden safe keeping place. The second photograph is of this 'book-box', only with another piece sitting inside it.
