Your wreath will be similar to the one in the photo using a vintage French book: a novel, a grammar book, French- English dictionary, etc. It will have the same fleur-de-lis medallion.

::: Ruffle ~ black OR cream crepe paper ruffle. The cream has a softer look, while the black ruffle really dramatizes the fleur-de-lis. You may look at some of my other wreaths to see the black crepe paper.

This particular wreath is approximately 16" - 17" in diameter. The centerpiece is a copy of an antique fleur-de-lis engraving that has been printed on the flyleaf from an old book. It is surrounded by a hand pleated crepe paper ruffle.
A wire hanger is attached to the base on the back. This wreath can hang with the vintage ribbon, or you may remove the ribbon and hang from the wire loop in the back. The base is covered with pages from the same book. The back is finished very neatly. The wreath is signed and dated on the back, as well as having the name and date of the book used.
I don’t destroy perfectly good books as a rule, and use books that are falling apart, have pages missing, or are damaged in one way or another.
*This wreath ships in a purchased box that is 18” x 18” x 6”. I use UPS GROUND for these packages, as it is much cheaper than USPS. It also includes insurance. Once I ship your item, I WILL REFUND ANY OVER CHARGE if $1 or more.
