Here's a one of a kind ! I used a Sycamore log that was cut down and allowed to lay in the dirt for a year so the beetles and grubs could work on their diy statement. Next the wood is milled to it's present torch shape, thoroughly dried, de-bugged, and coated with at least 15 coats of thin satin polyurethane to seal. I hammered the 10 mil copper top and accelerated the patina process, the copper was veneered over 1/4" pine inside & out then a four strand copper rope was made and attached. The base is pine with a copper metal architectural grade paint which will patina over time but I can accelerate that process if you'd like. This floor lamp uses two 60 (max.) watt standard light bulbs and the on/off switch is along the cord. The last picture is the back.
