Super Richoflex twin lens reflex cameras,
designed this smaller twin lens reflex
camera to use 127 film and be mostly automatic.
The Rollei company had created the "Baby Rollei",
a small 127 film camera and
many other companies responded to this by
creating their own smaller 127 film Tlr's.
The cover opens when you raise the viewfinder cover.
The ASA (film speed) settings are linked with the Shutter
speeds. The exposure is controlled by a thumb knob
above the film advance knob (which when turned, also
sets the shutter). It has small color dots, that correspond to
numbered setting on the ASA thumb knob found on the
opposite side of the camera. These numbers are very small
and not easy to read.
The camera us focused by the two levers to the side of the
taking lens. Pushing these forward and backward focuses the
lens. The shutter lever is below the taking lens.
The selenium meter is found above the viewing lens.
Above this, as look down into the viewfinder, is an
exposure meter.
Condition:
Overall, the camera is in very good cosmetic condition.
The lenses look very good, although there is dust under
the top (viewing) lens and some dust collected at the edges
of the taking lens.
The cast metal body shows some areas of paint loss on the
edges and some scratches and abrasions on the body.
The plastic cover has light scratches on the surface and
some discoloration of the opaque plastic. There are shallow
cracks on the side panels of the cover.
The viewfinder is slightly frosted. It's quite bright and the
focus works perfectly. It may make a very interesting TtV
photography camera!!
*****The selenium meter isn't working properly and I haven't
been able to get the shutter to work, so sadly, this camera is
being sold for display and as a collectible.*******
