99.9% Fine silver wire was exclusively used throughout the necklace. This wire has been shaped, hammered and wrapped to encase two triangle Swarovski crystals. While the necklace has symmetry I still wanted an organic touch to the piece to soften some of the hard edges. You can see this in the slight irregularity in the hammered triangles surrounding the crystals and wrapping of the wire around the Viking knit chain. The necklace is ended in a handmade hook of my own design. Nova is completely made by hand. There are no manufactured components in the necklace except the crystals and sterling silver beads.
The necklace measures 18 inches long with a 3 inch extension. The focal piece measures 2-1/2 inches long and 1-1/4 inch wide. The Necklace has been antiqued to bring out the depth, texture, and details found in the design.
