The ribbon on this hat is wide and crimson; it crosses over on the right side, ending in two points. On each side there's a long plastic gray bar sewn onto the ribbon. I believe the hat dates to the 1940s or 1950s.
The hat is in good to very good condition. There are five or six small spots of wear on the felt on the dome of the hat. The ribbon has a few small wrinkles but is in very good shape overall. There are a number of small breaks in the veil but it is still usable.
