The bright pinks and blues were a joy to work with and approved by a tween girl (my daughter). The colors remind me of fresh cotton candy at the county fair and watching them make it in those air spinner machines hence the name "Spun Sugar". The size makes it plenty big to use as a throw give to a special little girl or whatever you can think of.
This blanket is machine washable. I recommend cold water with little detergent, line dry and then a few minutes in the dryer to "fluff" it back up. It is safe to put in the dryer.
This quilt has been pre-washed in cold water with very minimal amounts of detergent and the dried in the dryer on a standard setting.
