We carved all the way through the solid black glaze so that the natural ceramic can be seen. The etching is completely permanent, and the set is sturdy and should be dishwasher safe.
Every reclaimed item has some signs of wear, since they were gently used before we found them.
This mug is almost 3" (7.5cm) tall, and 3" (7.5cm) across the mouth opening. It holds up to 6 oz of liquid amazing.
