Who's Chaing Kai-shek?
Chiang Kai-shek helped unify China and became the country's leader in 1928. When the Chinese Communist Party drove Chiang Kai-shek's Nationalist government to Taiwan in the mid 1940s, Chiang Kai-shek became President of the Republic of China and served as such for the remainder of his life.
This print features a brightly colored Chiang Kai-shek in the foreground in military attire set against a distressed red background. An image of Chaing Kai-shek's signature is featured very lightly on the left side of the print. Chiang Kai-shek points out that we become what we do.
