It was sure hard to find any info on this beauty, what seems to be a scarce style of Aigner basket purse
Based on what I've read, I'm guessing this bag is circa late 50s/early 60s- marked inside as well as "hand made"
Beautiful woven basket with leather strap and closures- brass fixtures and an ornate closure
Interior is lined with beige material with one small pocket
I just want to grab this, my friends, a checkered red and white blanket and go for a picnic, know what I mean?
Measures 6.5" tall x 10" wide x 7" deep
Condition: very very nice- a bit of age toning to the metal, a few very small scuffs to the leather, just beautiful
