This book was sewn with yellow waxed linen thread in the ancient Coptic binding style, which allows the stitching to become a decorative element on the spine. Pages lay flat when open for easy journaling or sketching.
Papers and cloth:
Dark brown bookcloth and earthy coral-colored paper is used for the covers and wrapped around archival bookboard. The same paper coral paper, featuring natural fibers, is used for the guards (the paper wrapped around the six sections of pages). The interior pages are made from smooth, cream-colored paper from Neenah Paper. The pages are hand-torn, giving the edges of the book a soft, natural feel.
