Each piece of this plate was hand cut, kissed with the grinder & carefully placed to find fused perfection.
The pieces were placed over a sheet of glitter green aventurine glass. After the design, the glass was fused & annealed to create a solid tile. After being cleaned, it was placed back into the kiln over a mold & refired to create a gentle curve.
Since this piece was free formed, the edges have some wonderful character!!
So what does this mean for you? Well- this plate would be perfect for serving fresh cut veggies with dip (anything that makes the family reach for veggies is amazing) or you could treat yourself to a fabulous meal on this plate (who doesn't like to feel special on occasion?!!)
This plate measures 8" in diameter and is sloped up to 1/2" on each of it's 8 sides. The perfect size for a solo meal or to entertain with :D
It's dishwasher safe for quick, after party clean up too- woooooot!!
