❀LACE:
The necklace features a graceful, oval pendant of my handmade lace, meticulously crafted with real silver threads--like those used in the opulent embroideries of the Rococo era. The pendant has a delicate net base, dotted with tiny vintage glass seed beads, and asymmetrically adorned with a dainty bouquet of hand crocheted flowers. The central flower has A grade, white freshwater pearls for its petals, the two flowers on either side are accented with AA grade rock crystal rondelles. A vintage rhinestone and more freshwater pearls decorate the centers of the flowers. Peeking out from underneath the flowers are three AA rainbow moonstone briolettes with naturally brilliant flashes of purple and blue. The lace motif is edged with more vintage seed beads in opalescent white, faceted crystal and mother-of-pearl. The top of the pendant is attached to the chain with a tiny lace rosette, and the back of the motif is embellished with another rosette.
❀DROP:
A gorgeous, AAA grade cultured freshwater pearl drop hangs beneath the pendant. Threaded on a sterling silver, ball head pin, the pearl is topped with a handmade lace bead cap and an AA rock crystal rondelle.
❀CHAIN:
The pendant is suspended from a delicate, sterling silver chain interspersed with handmade links. The links include rock crystal and rainbow moonstone rondelles, freshwater pearls and clear Swarovski crystals enhanced with an "aurora borealis" finish that ties in with the flashing blues and purples of the rainbow moonstone briolettes on the pendant.
❀CLASP:
The necklace ends in a dainty, sterling silver toggle clasp and an adjustable chain, terminating in a freshwater pearl drop on sterling silver head pin.
❀DIMENSIONS:
The pendant measures 2" (5.1cm) across and is 2.5"(6.4cm) long from the top of the little lace rosette, to the bottom of the pearl drop. The chain adjusts from 18"(45.7cm) to 20"(50.8cm).

❀THREADS:
My designs feature real metal threads. Not to be confused with the synthetic, metallic fibers on the market, or metal wire, they are composed of a core of thread tightly wrapped in a thin sheet of 90% Silver or 2% gold over a layer of silver-plated cupro-nickel {a silver-colored alloy of copper, nickel and iron.} Used for centuries and reaching their zenith of popularity in the textiles of the Renaissance and Rococo eras, metal threads combine the softness of fiber with the sheen and richness of gold and silver.
