The copper surface has been textured with a decorative pattern from my own handmade punches. The little dished elements are reclaimed tin packaging, sawn, filed and formed by me then fastened onto the hoops with tiny soldered copper-wire rivets. The chain is copper-plated steel and fastens with a handmade hook and eyes. All the copper has been brush polished to a satin finish then heat treated to bring out the rich hues of the copper, which will gradually evolve over time into warm oak colours.
The larger central hoop is 4.5cm across (1 3/4inches). Laid out flat in a line, the necklace length is 53cm (about 21.5 inches) but can be worn at 50cm at shortest. I can alter the length if you wish, please inform me at checkout.
Bottom picture shows an example of how my pieces are presented, bagged and gift-wrapped in vintage magazine / dictionary papers acquired from booksellers.
