These hand-crafted Wedding Goblets are based on a Celtic tradition of the Seventeenth Century.
The tradition requires that the Wedding Goblet and the two rings be crafted from a single piece of wood in order that the two rings remain unbroken.
When the bride and groom toast each other from the same Goblet on their wedding day, the unbroken rings, symbolizing strength, unity, & eternity, invoke a very powerful bond for the happy couple's future together.
They stand, on average, at 6 inches ((160mm) tall and are made to be used to drink from. They have two captive rings on the stem of each symbolising the union of the couple. They are finished with a melamine coating to allow their usage for red or white wine and require only a quick swill in water after use. Ideal for those who wish to give a symbolic gift or for use at the toast
They hold a normal sized glass of wine.
These wedding goblets are made to order and are sold as a pair. The ones displayed are an example only. Please contact me for further details.
