It's 6 1/4" by 4 1/4" with a yellow, burgundy and green fabric over the hard cover. The cover does show a few marks and stains on it but they don't detract from the over all shape of the book or it's colour.
It does have a map of all of the clans in Scotland.
It has 319 pages.
It's a fascinating read and a great colour photo of each tartan talked about.
The dates of some of them go back to 1583.
