Thank you fashion editors!
Shaped by hand from heavy duty raw brass, this is a simple and modern design. The posts are sterling silver, and the brass has been given a brushed satin finish, with a few scratches and drilled nail marks for added realism! They are golden and glowing right now, but should acquire a nice dark gold patina over time.
Let me know if you need only one of these earrings, if you need it for an extra ear piercing, I would be happy to make a special listing for you.
The earrings are about 3/8 of an inch at their widest (1 cm). Everything has been cut, soldered, textured and polished by hand, and each pair will be unique. If you look in the back you'll see that the posts have been soldered in the middle of the horseshoe curve, so that you can position the earrings with the opening on the top, the bottom or alternate sides--the earrings would still sit perfectly on your earlobes but the look would be up to you.
