Firelight Bead Embroidered Cuff Bracelet

The colors in this striking bead embroidered cuff reminded me of all the colors one sees in the embers and flames of a fire - the rich reds, warm coppers, bronze and golds. I chose the colors from the side cabochons on the cuff, which are actually repurposed vintage button earrings. The center cabochon is a faux red jasper. I embellished all three cabochons with seed beads, bugle beads, firepolish Czech crystals and an assortment of copper and glass beads in a free form design. The beadwork was placed on an aluminum bracelet foundation and lined with ultasuede. This cuff measures approximately 6.25 inches by 2.25 inches. Because of the aluminum base, there is some flexibility in adjusting the cuff to the wrist size of the wearer.
