Strands of vintage glass pearls adorn a sweeping tangle of silvery chains to make up this one of a kind statement necklace. The pearls are in a variety of tones ranging from clean white to stained cream. Some of the pearls are very old and worn, they've lost their lustre completely and have a gorgeously chippy and mottled texture. The looped, swooped, tattered and knotted chains are in an assortment of silver tones. Some are new, some are vintage, some are salvaged thrift store finds. A sweet repurposed rhinestone heart brooch swings asymmetrically from one side.

The shortest strand sits at 22" (just above the bust). Longest chain cascades to 32" (mid-abdomen, below the bust line). Secures at the back of the neck with a vintage pearl and rhinestone box clasp.

As with all Savagesalvage designs, many of the objects that I use are recycled, repurposed, vintage and antique. They usually show signs of their past lives. They may have some discoloration, missing stones, or patina from age. I feel that such imperfections lend authenticity to my one of a kind art jewelry. If you don't like things that look archaic and a bit worn, then my designs are probably not for you.
