This is a 5x7 photograph of a set of baby hummingbirds being feed by their mom. These hummingbirds live in this nest right outside our back door. The mom made this nest on the Christmas lights that are hanging on our patio cover in our backyard. This nest is made from spiderwebs and leaf fragments. The babies are about to fly. I am thrilled to say that this photo won an honorable mention in the National Wildlife Federation photo contest.
