this cast iron moose wall hook would make a wonderful addition to any woodland cottage or shabby chic home. it's painted a beautiful shade of periwinkle blue and lightly hand sanded to reveal an undercoating of off white. hook measures 6.5" x 1.5" x 7.5" (16.5cm x 4cm x 19.5cm) and can easily be hung with just two screws. great for coats, scarves, towels, or perhaps your vintage necklaces!
a little note about my cast iron pieces...
i find these at salvage or antique shops, generally all rusty and unloved. though they look like they are from years past when i find them, they are not actually antiques. i take them home, sand off the crud, give 'em a fresh coat of paint, distress them a tad, and finish it all off with a polyurethane coating. they deserve a second chance... won't you be the one to give it to them?
