So this bracelet is my interpretation of "Light as a Breeze." The wisps of blue and yellow represent the few delicate, gentle, and warm spring days in the midwest, glimmers of hope in the midst of the overwhelming gray, rainy, dreary spring days. But they do remind us that there will be summer once again!
This cuff is woven one bead at a time, using primarily two techniques, peyote and herringbone. Intermixed with the seed beads are triangle beads, dagger beads, czech glass beads, and some round labrodorite beads, as well as the large glass focal. The clasp is a beadwoven toggle and loop.
It measures 2 inches (5 cm) wide by 8.5 in (22 cm) long. This cuff can be resized at least 1 inch smaller by adjusting the location of the toggle for no extra charge. It is a substantial piece which took hours of love to create!
