A perpetual gardening calendar for the Pacific Northwest--for each month there are two lists: planting recommendations and what is in season at the market. Each month also has a linoleum block print of a seasonal fruit or vegetable.
The days of the month have space for notes--either for recording what you've planted, harvested or bought that month (I imagined one might keep a planting/harvesting record) OR for using as a birthday calendar. The calendar is not year-specific, so you can keep using it for years to come.
