This is one of my favorite pieces that I've created.....definitely a statement piece!
It fits right on the shoulders with a beautiful Italian metal button covering the snap on the front.
This cape is unique because it not only has a hood but a collar as well.
There are so many details throughout the cape, it truly is beautiful!
For example the velvet ribbon is sewn around the inside of the edge of the hood and then hangs down on the front.
The fabrics are incredible as well.
I use a 100% silk novelty taffeta as the base, very high quality raised lace, and a beautiful polyester to finish off the lining.
The cape flares out past the shoulders.
So if you want the shoulders to be very fitted, then please pick a smaller size.
