A cleverly jointed design it relies on its repeated shapes for its form and drapes comfortably round the shoulders. Titanium is an incredibly light metal so this neckpiece is easy and comfortable to wear despite its size.
The process used to create the iridescent, jewelled discs is a process I developed myself to inlay photographs into sheet titanium. The photograph is printed onto clear plastic and backed with silver leaf and inlaid into the metal with resin to create a double sided butterfly's wing effect iridescent jewel.

LIMITED EDITION: This piece is in a limited edition of six - available to order in a variety of colours, bronze, purple, gold, blue, pink and in a satin or matte finish. The matte gold as shown is already sold and unavailable for purchase. Colour & finish samples and samples of the inlay can be sent to you should you be interested in commissioning this piece.
MAKING TIME - this is a large piece and will take approximately 6 months to make (due to family commitments I only work part time).
SHIPPING -please read this carefully it is important.
UK SHIPPING - If sold within the south of England I can deliver personally if you wish, If anywhere else in the UK I will use a secure courier.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING - I will use specialist fine art shippers.
AS THIS IS A HIGH VALUE ITEM IT WILL NEED TO BE SENT INSURED WITH SPECIALIST SHIPPERS OR COURIERS. I WILL OBTAIN A QUOTE FOR SHIPPING FROM EITHER SECURE COURIERS OR SPECIALIST ART SHIPPERS ONCE YOU HAVE CONTACTED ME, EXPRESSED INTEREST AND REQUESTED I OBTAIN A QUOTE.
THE SHIPPING WILL BE EXTRA AND WILL HAVE TO BE PAID IN A SEPARATE PAYMENT AND IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE HERE ON ETSY.

As this is a large project and we will both be investing time and money in its commission with special attention to detail and your requirements. Slightly different shop policies apply - I am afraid I cannot accept a return of this piece for any reason as laid out in my shop policies. As there will be extensive consultation to get the design, sizing and colours of the piece right I can only accept a return should there be a fault in the piece we are unable to satisfactorily resolve.
Cheques accepted from UK buyers only in Pounds Sterling, making will only commence once the cheque has cleared. Stage payments can be arranged, start a conversation to discuss it.
