The Heilan Coo (Scottish for Highland Cattle)is such a glorious symbol of Scotland. They look so rugged and they are, but farmers have told me some wonderful tales of how docile they are. My favorite is the cow that is waiting at the farmers front door in the morning, waiting for breakfast, like a dog with his head almost touching the door.

The horns attach with velcro, so the coo is easily shipped, you simply grind the two pieces of velcro together and if you like, glue down the flap of fur. The removeable horns also allows you to change the style (I make 3) should the mood strike you and replace it easily if broken.

The coos body is a cast stone, so it is vary stable and he stands about 6" tall to the tip of her horns. The fur is a woven mohair from the same german source that Steiff teddy bears uses. Do not place it in direct sunlight. The fur is hand dyed, so it may vary a little from the photo.
