Last year we purchased a houseful of clothing that belonged to a woman who bought clothing by the armful, at sample sales and end of season sales, from the 1940s through the 1970s. It's not high-end couture, but rather, a vast collection of the fashions worn by everyday women during these decades--beautiful dresses, cute blouses, suits, skirts, and hats. She never threw out a thing. This garment is from her enormous wardrobe, and I will continue to offer the best picks from this incredible find in the shop.
