Each block is knotty pine, chosen for its beautiful markings and light weight. The blocks are stained with dark walnut stain and sealed with a non-toxic sealer. There are visible brushstrokes on the photograph which adds to the character of handmade quality of each piece.
There is a small hole drilled on the back for hanging from a nail or they can be placed on a table top, shelf or windowsill.
Blocks are individually packaged in clear recyclable plastic and a nail and adhesive strip is included for your convenience.
