The handsome cover is midnight blue, with the author and title stamped on the spine in gold. The lining is in daffodil yellow cotton, with soft gold satin ribbon used to decorate the interior, and to form the handles and the bag closure.
Dimensions: 19cm x 12 cm (height is 30cm including handles). In inches, that's appx 9in x 5in (10in height with handles)
If you're wondering how rigid and strong the bag is - never fear! It's strengthened internally with layers of webbing and card so that it keeps its shape - it won't sag on the base.
All my bags are made from unwanted, old or unsaleable books, and all of them show signs of wear. To me this makes them more unique and special.
