A full range 300w dimmer is operated, through 3/4 of a turn, by a cross/vintage-style bath faucet handle. Hidden within the aerator (from where water would otherwise flow) is a 75w candelabra socket.
Candelabra bulbs, if the term sounds unfamiliar, are the small base bulbs that are common in chandeliers and porch lights. They're available most anywhere in various wattages, and in a wide range of shapes and colors. Pictured here are some of the bulbs that I think look best.
The base measures 4", while the faucet from collar to handle measures 3 1/2", giving the piece a total height of 7 1/2". The base measures 3" across the bottom, with 4' of white cord.
