I have been in love with William Shakespeare forever. I was lucky enough to live near Stratford Upon Avon in a former life and it was one of my local towns.
I have also been to see two productions by the RSC the first was A Clockwork Orange at the Barbican in 1989. It was amazing I remember U2 had composed the soundtrack and Phil Daniels played the lead. I also went to see Ralph Fiennes play at The Swan in Stratford Upon Avon which was equally thrilling. So this is a charm necklace made just to celebrate love - I truly Heart Will I Am Shakespeare and I would regularly walk past his house as Stratford was one of my favourite haunts for tea and browsing the antique stalls in Ely Street.
I really loved Baz Luhrmann's epic interpretation of this play it is perfection. I have the soundtrack playing in the studio most days and it was also partly the inspiration behind this piece. It you wish to show your love for The Bard then this is a really wonderful piece which was a long time in the making ( until I found a perfect picture ).
The portrait of Shakespeare charm is large and measures 42mm x 32mm, the small charm has the quote from Romeo and Juliet 'Did my heart love 'til now? Forswear its sight. For I never saw true beauty 'til this night.' and measures 21mm x 14mm made from silver plated metal on brass.The necklace will arrive beautifully wrapped ready for giving or simply keeping.
