This beautiful marigold was constructed from over dyed vintage kimono lining.
I dyed it to warm golden shade of yellow.
The center features a bright yellow coiled cord center.
There a couple "budding" blooms popping off to the sides.
I used silk leaves for this piece which I normally don't do but they were so perfect for this I couldn't resist.
The piece measures approximately 2 inches across and 4 inches in length.
That includes the buds & leaves.
The clip measures 3 inches long. Its black in colour and I tried my best to "hide" it behind the flower itself.
Its an easy to wear crocodile clips that works for most hair styles and it has excellent grip. Please not the photo of the "teeth" of the clip.
