Series: The Circus
THE SHORT STORY:
Cecilio Garnica started his life as a gypsy and one day his path crossed that of a traveling circus. He fell in love with the trapeze and found to his delight that was a natural. He was asked to join the circus and after many years of performing throughout Europe he decided to board a ship and start a circus of his own in Mexico. One chance evening he met Antonia, the most beautiful girl he had ever seen and was surprised to find that she was an amazingly talented trapeze artist herself. They were soon married and after years of crisscrossing the country they learned that soon they would add another star to their circus.
Together the three stars swung in elegant arcs and astounded audiences wherever they performed.
