During a recent dinner out with friends, our bunch of little ones shared a few crayons and drew as much as they could on the backs of their placemats. It was lots of fun for everyone, but lasted only about 5 minutes. It dawned on me that they would be so much more engaged if they had their own little coloring stations filled with just enough supplies to keep them happy for a great while and even have enough to share with a couple friends.
