This birdhouse is the perfect size for small songbirds.
It measures 9 inches tall and 21 1/2 inches around with a one inch hole. This birdhouse has alot of fine detail and took several hours to paint. This one is one of my favorites.
The birdhouses need to be hung in the shade. When there is not a bird nesting check the drain holes in the bottom from time to time to make sure water can drain out. I recommend taking them in for the winter and before putting them back out in the spring, check the finish. It's a good idea to give them a light refresher coat of spar urethane, you can use a spray. Don't worry about cleaning them out, the birds will take care of that. I will include a care card if you purchase the gourd.
