The material used to construct this bag is over 60 years old but still in the most wonderful condition. Bits of printing and patching from the original duffel have been incorporated into this tote to highlight the unique nature of the material. Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.
Fully lined with sturdy blue & white striped ticking fabric, this large, incredibly sturdy tote is just the right size for carrying everything you need during the day - your laptop, groceries from the farmers market, library books etc. Two good-sized inside pockets can easily hold a wallet, cell phone, ipod, etc.
Both the reinforcement on the bottom of the tote and the shoulder straps are made from a beautiful medium brown, oil tanned leather.
Buckle made from leather and salvaged brass hardware.
Tote measures approximately 17 inches wide, 15 inches tall, 4 inches deep.
