I have always believed place to be such a defining part of who we are, where we come from and where we would like to be. Precious to our life stories we can carry these places in our jewelry similar to a carefully selected gem. Your jewelry can feature any location in the world that means the most to you. Whether a small town or a grand city, I will dig through my collection of atlases and maps to find the right map, specifically for you.
Select five (5) locations to be featured in your bracelet. Document all your favorite vacations, document the places you have lived, or plot out a bucket list of places you want to explore one day!
Dimensions: Maps are approximately 5/8" (16mm) in diameter and the bracelet is about 8" in length and can be adjusted to fit smaller wrists. If you would like an extra link added, please leave instructions at checkout.
Map Selection: When you place your order, please tell me the 5 locations, in the order you'd like them to appear from left to right. I will search through many options to find maps that are aesthetically pleasing together as a set.
Please allow 3-4 weeks for your bracelet to be made just for you.
* * Maps are not only my life's passion, but also in my blood. My great grandmother, who is also my namesake, was a single young independent working woman in the late 19th and early 20th century, which was not the norm for ladies at that time. She was employed away from her hometown, as an assistant to a cartographer in Washington DC. Although I never had the opportunity to meet her, her life and story continue to be a huge inspiration to me.* *

The origin of my map jewelry series comes from my 2004 'Inheritance' series of pendants as published in LARK books "500 Pendants and Lockets" and the "Lark Studio Series: Pendants."
