Acorns have long symbolized potential, strength, and patience. Here are some that won't sprout a mighty oak, but will add a natural touch wherever they land.

I've wet-felted 6 acorns from a mottled grey-green/sage wool, and glued them securely into this copper colored cap.

The caps have been painted with a low VOC acrylic paint that contains real copper particles. I've started the verdigris process, but the shiny copper will continue to mellow and age like a penny. It will be a slow transition that you'll get to watch over time.

They vary in size, but most are between .75" to 1" in length. The amount of oxidation on the cap, and the cap shape itself, varies from acorn to acorn so if you have a preference, please let me know in the "notes to seller" at checkout.

The actual acorns you receive may vary slightly from the set shown here.

Imagine these spread out on a windowsill, as wedding favors, in a bowl on your desk, or even as tiny pincushions. Perhaps give them as a symbol to someone to remind them of the potential they hold.

Your acorns will come packaged in a reusable muslin bag.

Made in my non-smoking home/studio.

I offer a discount on an order of 100 acorns or more. Please contact me for details.
