This amazing princess phone is a nice turquoise shade and looks great for it's age. It is tricky to date the set as the princess phone went through several changes, but it appears this model is probably from between 1968-1971 due to the color and company stampings on the phone.

The phone has been thoroughly tested and operates perfectly. Purchase price includes a new wall transformer and the specialized 4 conductor line cord required to make the phone operate safely and light when the receiver is lifted.

This phone is unique from any other Princess telephone on the market. If you look at the main photo you may notice what makes it special. Give up? Look closely at the dial pad....it has 2 number 3 keys! The dialpad goes, 123, 453, 789, etc. Don't worry, it dials perfectly. After checking with 2 antique telephone repair people we have come to the conclusion that it was probably issued/made this way. The wear to the dialpad is even, and the unit is sealed / soldered shut. We love this feature!!

The phone measures 8 ½” long, 4” tall and 3 ½” wide. The markings on the phone are as follows:

On the bottom of the base: The Princess Phone Bell System; on the receiver: Bell System Property Not for Sale Western Electric.

There is one discoloration spot on the back of the base, and when the receiver is moved you can see how much the entire base/receiver has faded, as here the color is bluer, as if the rest of the phone had been in the sun. This is visible in the photos. The receiver has a very small nick/gouge in the plastic.
