focusing lens.
It isn't like a focusing lens on a modern
SLR camera. It's based on guessing (or measuring)
your distance from your subject.
Argus 75's are my favorite cameras for
TtV (through the viewfinder) photography.
This one is in very good condition.
The taking lens is very clean and clear.
The shutter and film advance work.
The viewfinder is very bright. It does
have some dust and black specks under
the glass.
The face plate has small scratches on the surface.
The metal viewfinder cover has a long shallow
scratch that forks across the surface, under the
argus logo.
The black bakelite body is in very good condition,
although there are several areas of paint loss on the
back panel, especially around the film counter window.
The case has small paint specks on the front flap and
the inner strap that snaps into place across the front
of the camera is missing. This strap helps secure the
camera in it's case.
The inside of the case is covered with a faux red velvet.
It's shedding.
Argus 75's use 620 film, which is available again online.
There are also instructions on the web for adapting
120 film for use in these old 620 film cameras.
Your camera will be carefully packaged and shipped priority
mail in the US and First Class Mail international to Australia,
Canada, the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands
and New Zealand. I also ship to most EU countries. Please
convo for more info and rates.
