The origami butterfly is 1 3/4 inch wide and 1 inch tall. It is meticulously hand sewn to a silver plated metal stick pin. The pin comes with a matching metal clutch that covers the sharp end of the stick pin. The entire item is 3 inches long.
This butterfly lapel pin can be worn by either a man or a woman. It's beautiful on a blouse, sweater, scarf, hat, or suit jacket. It also makes a lovely heirloom keepsake in weddings and proms as a corsage and boutonniere.
The inner wings are made from a white silk, and the outer wings are made from a champagne colored raw silk.

NOTE: I can do custom butterflies if you send me the fabric. Each butterfly requires 2 pieces of 2 inch by 3 inch fabric.
