The flower picks up on the current fashion for multiple patterns, floral motifs and vibrant color combinations.
Every detail is carefully considered when combining the diverse layers and patterns. The petals are cut one by one, sterling silver rivets hold the layers securely together. The petals each are smooth, and dimensional. This is not a junky aluminum soda can, but steel from post consumer recycled tin cans. I have worked with metal for over 35 years and recycled tin cans for the past 22 developing my own repertoire of skills and techniques unlike anyone else.
The back of the pin is an oversized tulip and blue flowers from a vintage kitchen canister. Look for my hallmark on the back so that you know this is a one of a kind pin by Harriete Estel Berman. The front side creates a white shadow from the front of the pin.
LAYERS INCLUDE:

YOUR PURCHASE
In the last photo you will see that I've finally found the perfect box to use for shipping my Flower Brooches. The boxes are a lightweight cardboard.
The pins will fit nicely inside with a little extra tissue. Then the work can be shipped in a larger shipping box.
They come in lime green, red, black, yellow, blue, pink and the uncolored brown.
